TNews, NASIONAL <\/strong>– Badan Kesehatan Dunia (WHO) menyoroti persentase tenaga kesehatan yang tidak divaksinasi atau zero dose. WHO menilai vaksinasi merupakan cara untuk menurunkan angka kematian.<\/p>\n

Persentase nakes yang belum divaksin ini tertuang dalam Situation Report-64 yang dirilis pada Rabu (26\/8\/2021). Situation report ini rutin dirilis setiap pekan oleh WHO. Ini merupakan laporan per 25 Agustus 2021.<\/p>\n

Ada dua provinsi yang menempati posisi tertinggi jumlah nakes yang zero dose. Dua provinsi tersebut adalah Papua dan Maluku.<\/p>\n

“Per 23 Agustus, provinsi dengan persentase tertinggi tenaga kesehatan yang tidak divaksinasi (zero dose) adalah Papua (18,6%) dan Maluku (13%),” tulis WHO dalam laporannya.<\/p>\n

Selain itu, WHO juga mengungkap laporan provinsi soal persentase lansia yang belum divaksin. Bahkan yang belum divaksin sampai 90%.<\/p>\n

“Sepuluh provinsi melaporkan proporsi populasi lansia yang tidak divaksinasi lebih besar dari atau sama dengan 90%: Aceh, Sumatera Barat, Maluku Utara, Papua, Lampung, Papua Barat, Sulawesi Barat, Sulawesi Tenggara, Sulawesi Tengah dan Kalimantan Selatan,” ungkap WHO.<\/p>\n

WHO menilai upaya berkelanjutan untuk meningkatkan akses dan kesadaran terhadap manfaat vaksin di antara populasi lansia dan berisiko tinggi tetaplah penting. Upaya ini bisa ikut menurunkan angka kematian.<\/p>\n

“Upaya berkelanjutan untuk lebih meningkatkan aksesibilitas dan kesadaran akan manfaat COVID-19 vaksinasi di antara populasi yang lebih tua dan berisiko tinggi tetap penting untuk menurunkan angka kematian,” lanjut WHO.<\/p>\n
