TNews, SULUT <\/strong>\u00ad\u2011 Kantor Wilayah Direktorat Jenderal Bea dan Cukai (DJBC) Sulawesi Bagian Utara (Sulbagtara) berkomitmen mendorong optimalisasi ekspor dari Pelabuhan Bitung.<\/p>\n

\u201cPelabuhan Bitung mempunyai lokasi sangat strategis dalam meningkatkan ekspor di Indonesia Bagian Timur, \u201d ungkap Kepala Bea Cukai Sulbagtara, Cerah Bangun dalam FGD Optimalisasi Direct Call Ekspor dari Pelabuhan Hub Internasional Bitung, Rabu (01\/09\/2021).<\/p>\n

FGD ini dihadiri Direktorat Lalu Lintas dan Angkutan Laut, Direktorat Jenderal Perhubungan Laut dan Pelindo IV.<\/p>\n

Cerah Bangun mengatakan, peluang optimalisasi Direct Call ekspor dari Pelabuhan Hub Internasional Bitung sangat memungkinkan.<\/p>\n

“Karena didukung perkembangan infrastruktur seperti mulai beroperasinya Tol Manado Bitung. Kemudian adanya Kawasan Ekonomi Khusus Bitung dan pariwisata Likupang serta dukungan dari pelaku bisnis baik dari pelayaran maupun eksportir,” kata Cerah kepada Tribunmanado.co.id, Kamis (02\/08\/2021).<\/p>\n

Berdasarkan data dKantor Bea dan Cukai Bitung, perkembangan ekspor melalui Pelabuhan Bitung terlihat dari jumlah peningkatan jumlah dokumen Pemberitahuan Ekspor Barang (PEB) yang naik.<\/p>\n

Dimana, terjadi peningkatan 12 persen pada tahun 2020 yakni pada tahun 2019 ada 1.791 PEB menjadi 2.007 PEB di tahun 2020.<\/p>\n

Sementara itu arus petikemas ekspor di pelabuhan Bitung mengalami peningkatan 29 persen, yakni tahun 2019 sejumlah 2.695 teus menjadi 3.490 teus di tahun 2020.<\/p>\n

Sedangkan komoditas utama ekspor adalah hasil perikanan, kelapa dan olahannya, kelapa sawit (CPO dan turunannya) dan rempah-rempah.<\/p>\n

Pelabuhan Bitung ditetapkan sebagai<\/p>\n

Pelabuhan Bitung berstatus Hub Internasional sesuai dengan Peraturan Presiden nomor 26 Tahun 2012 yang termasuk dalam rangka proyek strategis nasional.<\/p>\n

Kata Cerah, saat ini ekspor komoditas dari Pelabuhan Bitung ke negara tujuan ekspor masih melalui Pelabuhan Tanjung Priok di Jakarta dan Tanjung Perak di Surabaya.<\/p>\n

Kondisi ini dipicu karena masih kurangnya muatan ekspor dan impor melalui Pelabuhan Bitung untuk mencukupi permintaan perusahaan pelayaran internasional.<\/p>\n

Selain itu faktor ketersediaan kontainer ekspor yang belum dapat memenuhi kebutuhan pelaku usaha di Sulut.<\/p>\n

\u201cPelabuhan Hub internasional Bitung adalah jawaban atas tantangan biaya logistik global yang bertujuan untuk menyejahterakan masyarakat dan mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi nasional khususnya di Indonesia Timur,” ujar Cerah.(ndo)<\/p>\n
