TNews, PENDIDIKAN<\/strong> – Tanoto Foundation, organisasi filantropi independen yang didirikan Sukanto Tanoto dan Tinah Bingei Tanoto pada 1981, menyelenggarakan Tanoto Scholars Gathering 2021 yang berlangsung 1 hingga 2 September 2021.<\/p>\n

Mengusung tema \u201cLearn and Lead: 40 Years of Creating Impact\u201d, Tanoto Scholars Gathering (TSG) 2021 adalah yang kedua kalinya diadakan secara daring sejak pertama kali dimulai pada tahun 2010.<\/p>\n

Menteri Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi (Mendikbudristek), Nadiem Anwar Makarim, memberikan dukungan semangatnya untuk semua Tanoto Scholars yang hadir agar mewujudkan Kampus Merdeka yang menitikberatkan pada pembelajaran dunia nyata atau project-based learning.<\/p>\n

Diharapkan dengan program Kampus Merdeka, mahasiswa bisa belajar secara langsung di dunia nyata sekaligus mulai memberi dampak pada lingkungannya.<\/p>\n

“Mahasiswa harus memiliki keberanian untuk mengambil risiko, apalagi mengingat usia yang masih muda dan kesempatan yang ditawarkan melalui program Kampus Merdeka. Inilah waktunya untuk mengambil risiko, inilah waktunya untuk menantang diri sendiri,” kata Nadiem dalam sesi yang dipimpin oleh Tanoto Scholar dari ITB, Intan Subadri, Rabu (1\/9\/2021).<\/p>\n

“Mulai dengan mengambil risiko untuk berteman dengan orang dari latar belakang dan punya perspektif berbeda, untuk mengambil mata kuliah yang sulit, atau mencoba untuk mengikuti program di luar kampus. Keluarlah dari zona nyaman, keluarlah dari kolam renang akademia dan masuk ke dalam lautan terbuka dan belajar di situ,” tambahnya.<\/p>\n

TSG 2021 dibuka dengan keynote speech dari Anggota Dewan Pembina Tanoto Foundation Anderson Tanoto yang berbagi mengenai nilai-nilai keluarga Tanoto dan juga tips praktikal untuk Tanoto Scholars agar bisa menjadi pemimpin yang berkontribusi bagi masyarakat.<\/p>\n
