TNews, SULUT – <\/strong>Senator RI Dr Maya Rumantir MA PhD bersama Komite III Dewan Perwakilan Daerah (DPD) Republik Indonesia, Senin (22\/11\/2021) berkunjung ke Pulau Dewata Bali dalam rangka inventarisasi materi pengawasan DPD RI atas pelaksanaan Undang-Undang Nomor 21 Tahun 2000 Tentang Serikat Buruh\/Serikat Pekerja.<\/p>\n

Senator Maya Rumantir bersama rombongan Komite III DPD RI menggelar pertemuan dalam bentuk Focus Group Discussion (FGD) di Kantor Gubernur Bali dan diterima langsung oleh Wakil Gubernur Bali Dr Ir Tjokorda Oka Artha Ardana Sukawati MSi.<\/p>\n

Pada FGD yang juga diikuti oleh perwakilan Serikat BUruh\/Serikat Pekerja itu, Senator Maya Rumantir mendapatkan kesempatan menyampaikan sejumlah pertenyaan.<\/p>\n

Pada bagian awal, Senator Maya Rumantir menyampaikan bahwa akibat Pandemi COVID-19, banyak pihak yang terdampak secara langsung maupun tidak langsung, tak terkecuali dengan Serikat Buruh\/Serikat Pekerja.<\/p>\n

Saat dihubungi BeritaManado.com, Senator Maya Rumantir menyampaikan bahwa dirinya menanyakan langkah apa yang diambil pemerintah daerah untuk menyadarkan semua pelaku ekonomi guna memperkuat Serikat Pekerja\/Serikat Buruh khusus yang ada di Bali.<\/p>\n

Dalam diskusi tersebut, Komite III DPD RI mendapatkan penjelasan dari Pemprov Bali mengenai seperti apa nasib para karyawan\u00a0 dan juga peran Serikat Pekerja dalam mendukung nasib pekerja yang ada di setiap badan usaha di Bali.<\/p>\n

Di sisi lain, Senator Maya Rumantir juga mengakui bahwa akibat Pandemi COVID-19, sejumlah perusahaan yang mempekerjakan karyawan mengalami penurunan asset atau pendapatan yang\u00a0 dapat mengancam kelangsungan hidup pekerja di suatu perusahaan.<\/p>\n

\u201cAda banyak pertanyaan yang kami ajukan, namun pada intinya saya dan teman-teman Komite III DPD RI hadir di Bali untuk melihat sejauh mana implementasi payung hukum terkait Serikat\u00a0 Buruh\/Serikat Pekerja, yang mayoritas bergerak papda sektor pariwisata,\u201d ujar Senator Maya Rumantir.<\/p>\n

Terkait isu dirumahkannya banyak karyawan saat Pandemi COVID-19 karena ada pembatasan kedatangan turis mancanegara di Bali telah memicu terjadinya pemutusan hubungan kerja (PHK), senator Maya\u00a0 rumantir mengharapkan ada solusi terbaik, sehingga hal itu tidak terjadi.<\/p>\n

Pada bagian yang sama, Senator Maya Rumantir juga menyoroti peran Federasi\u00a0 Serika pekerja Mandiri (FSPM) Regional Bali untuk mencegah terjadinya PHK.<\/p>\n

\u201cTerkait hal ini, informasi yang ada pada saya ada sekitar 74.000 lebih pekerja pariwisata yang dirumahkan dan 3.000 lelbih pekerja yang kena PHK. Jumlah ini belum termasuk pekerja yang tidak melaporkan jika dirinya terkena PHK. Semoga saja ada jalan keluar yang dapat diperjuangkan bersama oleh pemerintah dan Serikat Buruh\/Serikat Pekerja untuk para karyawa, khususnya pekerja pariwisata di Bali ini. Lebih dari itu semua, semoga saja Pandemi CPOVID-19 akan segera berlalu, sehingga Pariwisata di Bali dapat kembali normal lagi,\u201d harap Senator Maya Rumantir.<\/p>\n
