TNews, Minut Sulawesi Utara \u2013 Pemerintah Provinsi Sulawesi Utara melalui dinas Perumahan, Kawasan Pemukiman dan Pertanahan Daerah, Kamis (30\/03\/2023) menyelesaikan pekerjaan bantuan Peningkatan Sarana Utilitas Umum (PSU) Jalan di desa Waleo Kecamatan Kema, dengan anggaran 149.947.408,- Rupiah yang bersumber dari APBD Provinsi Sulut 2023.<\/p>\n

\nMenurut Hukum Tua Waleo Marthin Hengky Sumampouw, A.Ma.TM, pelaksanaan pekerjaan bantuan pemerintah provinsi Sulut ini, dilaksanakan oleh CV.ALFA dan telah selesai dilaksanakan untuk pembangunan jalan Paving yang berada di Jaga 6 sepanjang 68 meter.<\/p>\n

\n\u201cPerbaikan jalan ini memang dinantikan oleh masyarakat Waleo, khususnya di Jaga 6 walaupun belum mencakup keseluruhan kebutuhan akses jalan. Atas nama pemerintah dan masyarakat Waleo, sangat berterimakasih kepada pemerintah provinsi Sulawesi Utara bapak gubernur bapak Olly Dondokambey dan wakil gubernur bapak Steven Kandouw, Sekprov Sulut bapak Steve Kepel, Pemerintah kabupaten Minahasa Utara Bupati Bapak Joune Ganda, Wakil Bupati Bapak Kevin Lotulung dan Sekda bapak Novly Wowiling serta dinas Perumahan, Kawasan Permukiman dan Pertanahan Daerah Sulut, yang telah memperhatikan kami, sehingga jalan yang juga merupakan akses ke lokasi pariwisata air terjun Masongsor ini bisa diselesaikan pembuatannya dan boleh dinikmati warga desa Waleo dan Waleo Dua. \nPerwakilan BPD Waleo Herman Gerung mengatakan, dengan pembangunan jalan paving ini membuktikan pemerintah tetap memperhatikan desa Waleo dan ke depan diharapkan bantuan pemerintah yang lain untuk masyarakat dapat diberikan untuk Waleo. \u201cSebagai masyarakat, kami tetap membutuhkan bantuan pemerintah baik pemerintah pusat, Provinsi Sulawesi Utara maupun Pemerintah Kabupaten Minahasa Utara sehingga Waleo dapat berkembang ke arah yang lebih baik lagi,\u201d kata Herman.
