TNews, Kukar –<\/strong> Wakil Bupati Kukar Rendi Solihin mengapresiasi atlet kempo Kutai Kartanegara yang turut berkontribusi menghantarkan Tim Nasional Indonesia menyabet posisi runner-up di ajang 2023 World Taikai yang dihelat di Tokyo Jepang. Dari kontestasi yang diikuti 41 negara itu, Kontingen Indonesia yang terdiri dari 153 Kenshi mengikuti 19 nomor pertandingan dan berhasil menyabet 4 emas, 3 perak serta 5 perunggu.<\/p>\n

Dari total medali tersebut, atlet Kukar menyumbang 2 medali emas, 1 perak juga 2 perunggu.<\/p>\n

Lebih lanjut dijelaskan Rendi Solihin yang juga merupakan Manajer Tim Kenshi Indonesia, raihan medali yang diperoleh atlet Kukar untuk Indonesia pada kejuaraan dunia ini melebihi target, bahkan sangat disyukuri bisa meraih juara umum ke 2 untuk Indonesia<\/p>\n

Ke depan, kata Rendi, Kukar siap jadi tuan rumah untuk ajang Nasional maupun Internasional.<\/p>\n

Menurut Rendy, pihaknya sudah membangun komunikasi dengan pihak terkait agar tahun depan Kukar bisa jadi tuan rumah kejuaraan Kempo nasional maupun internasional.<\/p>\n

“Ini untuk memotivasi pemuda Kukar khususnya, bahwa anak-anak daerah bisa berprestasi untuk Indonesia di kejuaraan dunia. Pembinaan ini akan terus berjalan berkelanjutan,\u201d ujarnya saat baru mendarat di Jakarta dari Tokyo dan disambut PB Kempo Indonesia, Senin (16\/10\/23).<\/p>\n

Diberitakan sebelumnya, Rendi mengatakan akan ada penghargaan bagi atlet Kukar dari Pemkab bagi peraih prestasi\/sertifikat pada kejuaraan ini, yang akan dianggarkan tahun 2024, nilainya sesuai ketentuan yang berlaku.<\/p>\n

\u201cJadi nanti kita sama-sama kawal di anggaran 2024 penghargaan ini bisa disampaikan. Saya secara pribadi juga memberikan penghargaan untuk uang jajan lah nanti dibagi rata saja,\u201d ujarnya disambut tepuk tangan gembira para atlet Kukar.<\/p>\n

Untuk diketahui seperti yang diberitakan sebelumnya, tim Kempo Kukar yang berlaga di Jepang terdiri 30 atlet, 5 official, dan 6 pelatih. Rombongan dilepas Sekda Kukar H Sunggono di Ruang Serba Guna Kantor Bupati Kukar, Selasa (3\/10\/2023) lalu.<\/p>\n

Atlet yang mengikuti kejuaraan kempo di Tokyo Jepang ini telah melewati beberapa tahapan \u2013 tahapan. Dan prestasi yang telah diraih kemarin adalah lolos pada kualifikasi PON. Sementara untuk yang Junior secara nasional Kukar mendapatkan posisi (rangking) 2 tingkat Nasional.<\/p>\n

Even di Jepang ini tidak hanya mengikuti kejuaraan saja namun juga mengikuti peningkatan kualitas, kegiatan lain yaitu study session yang dilaksanakan selama 3 hari yang diikuti pelatih dan para atlet dan dilaksanakan ujian naik tingkat.
