TNews, BOLTIM –<\/strong> Badan Pengawas Pemilihan Umum (Bawaslu) Kabupaten Bolaang Mongondow Timur (Boltim), menggelar sosialisasi Pengawasan Pemilu Partisipatif kepada Organisasi Masyarakat pada, Jumat (09\/02\/2024) bertempat Kafe Goba’ Molunow Kecamatan Mooat.<\/p>\n

Kegiatan tersebut melibatkan ormas dan media, mantan Komisioner KPU Bapak Oddoh Jerri Mokolang, selaku pemateri dalam sambutannya mengangkat isu tentang peran penting pengawasan pemilu oleh ormas dan media melalui pendidikan politik bagi masyarakat, untuk menyadarkan kesadaran pemilih tidak terlibat ke dalam “Money Politic” sehingga nantinya bisa menghadirkan pemilu yang demokratis yang tentunya secara otomatis kelak bisa melahirkan pemimpin yang berkualitas dan berintegritas.<\/p>\n

“Ini adalah tugas kita bersama, baik itu ormas maupun media untuk melakukan pengawasan serta mendorong partisipasi bagi masyarakat dalam pemilu melalui pendidikan politik, untuk mencegah adanya ‘Money Politic’ serta menghasilkan para pemimpin yang berkualitas. Melihat kompleksitas permasalahan tersebut, maka politik dan pendidikan politik bagi negara dan bangsa Indonesia saat ini khususnya yang ada di Boltim, sangat strategis dan Urgent, karena eksistensi sebuah negara sangat ditentukan oleh sikap serta kedewasaan politik masyarakatnya,” tegas Jerri.<\/p>\n

Ia juga menambahkan, bahwa saat ini bagi bangsa Indonesia politik merupakan entitas yang kurang disukai, bahkan dibenci. Hal ini dikarenakan perilaku para politikus yang tidak konsisten antara ucapan dan tindakan di lapangan.<\/p>\n

“Politik kita terlalu banyak mempertontonkan konflik bahkan banyak mencampuradukan kepentingan politik dengan isu SARA, sehingga menimbulkan kekerasan yang menyebabkan banyak rakyat yang menjadi korban, baik secara fisik maupun jiwa,” tutup Jerry.*<\/p>\n
