Tak hanya itu, Dinas Kesehatan (Dinkes) Bolsel saat ini juga masih menunggu hasil tes darah tiga warga lainnya yang dicurigai (suspect) telah terserang virus mematikan ini. Padahal, sebelumnya Bolsel merupakan satu-satunya daerah di Sulut yang mampu bertahan bebas dari HIV\/AIDS.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Menanggapi hal tersebut, Bupati Bolsel, Hi Herson Mayulu (H2M) mengimbau kepada masyarakat bolsel untuk waspada dan lebih berhati-hati. Pasalnya, menurut orang nomor satu di Bolsel ini, HIV merupakan salah satu virus mematikan yang hingga saat ini belum ada obatnya. Bupati menduga, para pasien tertular HIV dari luar daerah. Pasalnya kata Bupati, dari laporan Dinkes, rata-rata pasien pernah bekerja di luar Bolsel.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cSeperti pasien yang meninggal tahun lalu itu, dia memang warga Bolsel tapi kesehariannya di luar daerah. Nanti dia sakit baru kemudian pulang kampung (Bolsel),\u201d ujar orang nomor satu di bolsel ini.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Di sisi lain, Bupati pilihan rakyat bolsel ini juga meminta masyarakat untuk tidak mengucilkan para penderita HIV. Karena kata Om Oku sapaan akrab bupati, proses penularannya tidak melalui udara atau kontak fisik saja.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cBiarkan penderita hidup secara normal di tengah kaluarga dan masyarakat. Karena pada umunya penyebaran HIV hanya lewat hubungan seks tanpa menggunakan pengaman dan penggunaan jarum suntik secara bergantian,\u201d ujar Bupati H2M.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Bupati juga meminta kepada Dinkes selaku instansi teknis untuk terus memantau perkembangan penderita baik yang sudah dinyatakan positif maupun yang masih gejalah.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cItu tugas Dinkes\u00a0\u00a0dan harus terus dipantau. Lakukan sosialisasi agar masyarakat lebih paham tentang HIV. Dan khusus bagi masyarakat yang keluarganya mengidap HIV agar perlakukan dia (penderita) seperti biasa. Bagaimana pun dia adalah bagian dari keluarga kita,\u201d sebut Bupati.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sebelumnya, informasi ini diperoleh setelah Dinas Kesehatan (Dinkes) Bolsel menerima laporan hasil tes darah, tiga warga bolsel positif terinfeksi HIV.
