TNews, BATAM \u2013<\/strong> Puluhan warga Batam tampak antusias mengikuti Pelatihan Juru Las dan Kewirausahaan yang digelar di LPK Moradex Energi Persada, Sekupang, Kamis (20\/11\/2025). Kegiatan ini dibuka secara resmi oleh Sekretaris Daerah Kota Batam, Firmansyah, mewakili Wali Kota Batam, Amsakar Achmad.<\/p>\n

Pelatihan yang berlangsung selama enam hari ini merupakan program pemberdayaan Baznas Kota Batam bekerja sama dengan LPK Moradex, diikuti oleh 50 peserta dari berbagai Unit Pengumpul Zakat (UPZ) di Batam.<\/p>\n

Firmansyah mengapresiasi inisiatif Baznas yang untuk pertama kalinya menyelenggarakan pelatihan welder bersertifikasi. Ia menekankan bahwa keterampilan las membuka peluang kerja yang cukup besar, terutama dalam pembuatan teralis dan konstruksi ringan. \u201cManfaatkan pelatihan ini dengan sebaik-baiknya agar benar-benar memberi nilai tambah bagi masyarakat,\u201d ujarnya.<\/p>\n

Ia juga berharap peserta yang nantinya bekerja atau membuka usaha mandiri dapat berkontribusi kembali kepada Baznas, sehingga program pemberdayaan ini berkelanjutan. \u201cSetelah memiliki pendapatan yang cukup, kami berharap para alumni dapat turut memberikan sumbangsih agar program seperti ini terus berkembang,\u201d tambah Firmansyah.<\/p>\n

Ketua Baznas Kota Batam, Habib Soleh, menjelaskan bahwa pelatihan ini sesuai arahan Wali Kota agar pendistribusian zakat tidak hanya bersifat konsumtif. Sekitar 40 persen anggaran difokuskan untuk produktivitas dan peningkatan keahlian mustahik. Seluruh anggaran sebesar Rp278 juta menanggung biaya pelatihan bagi 50 peserta yang direkomendasikan oleh 15 UPZ masjid di Batam.<\/p>\n

Pelatihan ini menjadi salah satu langkah strategis untuk membuka lapangan kerja baru dan mendorong masyarakat Batam lebih mandiri melalui keterampilan dan kewirausahaan.*<\/p>\n
