TNews, BENGKULU –<\/strong> Rejang Lebong-Di jalur sempit Curup\u2013Lubuk Linggau, cerita lama itu terus berulang: pungutan liar, intimidasi, dan pos-pos retribusi yang berdiri tanpa dasar hukum. Pengguna jalan sudah hapal polanya\u2014pos kecil berdinding papan, beberapa orang berjaga, dan pungutan \u201csuka rela\u201d yang ujung-ujungnya wajib.<\/p>\n

Jumat, 21 November, Polres Rejang Lebong memutus mata rantai yang sudah terlalu lama dibiarkan itu. Tim gabungan yang dipimpin Kabag Ops AKP George Rudiyanto melakukan penyisiran di tiga titik pos TPR yang selama ini disinyalir menjadi tempat praktik pungli: Dusun Gardu, Desa Taba Padang, dan Desa Taktoi.<\/p>\n

Operasi ini bukan sekadar razia rutin. Menurut George, polisi telah menerima sederet laporan masyarakat yang mengaku dipalak saat melintas. Modusnya identik: meminta \u201cuang perbaikan jalan\u201d atau \u201cbantuan pengaturan arus lalu lintas\u201d. Faktanya, pungutan tak punya legalitas sedikit pun.<\/p>\n

\u201cPenertiban ini respon langsung atas laporan warga. Pungutan liar di jalur negara tidak boleh ditoleransi,\u201d ujar George. Pernyataan itu diperkuat jajaran lain yang ikut turun: Kasat Lantas, Kasat Samapta, dua kapolsek, hingga Satpol PP kabupaten.<\/p>\n

Polisi menegaskan bahwa dalih kerusakan jalan tidak bisa digunakan untuk melegitimasi praktik meminta uang pada pengendara. \u201cKalau ada longsor atau jalan rusak, cukup pasang tanda peringatan. Jangan jadikan itu alasan membangun pos dan memungut uang,\u201d kata George.<\/p>\n

Sikap aparat kali ini menunjukkan adanya pengakuan bahwa sejumlah pos TPR yang berdiri di wilayah itu selama ini telah dibiarkan abu-abu\u2014bergerak antara inisiatif warga dan tindakan melawan hukum. Karena itu, polisi meminta pos dibongkar secara mandiri. Kepala Desa Tanjung Aur, yang menjadi penanggung jawab salah satu pos, akhirnya menyatakan siap membubarkannya.<\/p>\n

Namun yang tersisa adalah pertanyaan yang lebih besar: bagaimana mungkin pos-pos ini bisa beroperasi bertahun-tahun tanpa ada tindakan tegas? Dan mengapa laporan masyarakat harus menumpuk dulu baru aparat bergerak?<\/p>\n

Penertiban hari itu memang menutup pos-pos ilegal. Tapi apakah itu juga menutup kultur pungli yang sudah mengakar di jalur ekonomi utama Bengkulu\u2013Sumatera Selatan? Jawabannya masih menunggu pembuktian di lapangan.*<\/p>\n
