TOTABUANEWS, INTERNASIONAL –\u00a0<\/strong>Sejumlah kaum laki-laki lajang di desa Uzumlu, sebelah selatan Turki, berunjuk rasa turun ke jalan untuk memprotes perlakuan kaum perempuan yang menolak dinikahi. Mereka mengaku sudah menjomblo selama sembilan tahun.<\/span><\/p>\n

Stasiun televisi Al Arabiya melaporkan, Rabu (6\/4), gadis-gadis di Uzumlu menolak dinikahi para pria karena mereka tidak mau tinggal di desa.<\/p>\n

Kaum laki-laki yang berdemo itu membawa spanduk yang berisi seruan agar para gadis mau menikah dengan mereka dan tinggal di desa ketimbang pindah ke kota besar.<\/p>\n

Untuk menunjukkan mereka serius ingin menikah, salah satu spanduk bahkan berisi permohonan bantuan kepada Presiden\u00a0Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Mereka juga berjanji akan memberi lima anak bagi istri mereka nanti.<\/p>\n

Erdogan sebelumnya pernah menyerukan agar warga Turki punya minimal tiga anak.<\/p>\n

Kepala desa Mustafa Bashbilan mengatakan di antara 233 penduduk, ada 25 pria lajang dan berusia antara 25 hingga 45 tahun.<\/p>\n

Bashbilan mengatakan kebanyakan para gadis lebih suka pindah ke kota besar sedangkan kaum laki-laki ingin tetap di desa menjaga tanah kakek mereka.<\/p>\n

Kepala desa juga menuturkan, tidak ada masalah keuangan yang dialami kaum laki-laki, tapi karena mereka tidak bisa menikah maka itu jadi masalah.<\/p>\n

Menurut Bashbilan, pernikahan terakhir di desa itu terjadi sembilan tahun lalu saat jumlah penduduk masih 400 jiwa.<\/p>\n
