TOTABUANEWS, BOLTIM –<\/strong> Bertepatan dengan hari cuci tangan sedunia (World Handwashing day), yang jatuh pada Sabut (15\/10\/2016), akhir pekan kemarin. Dinas Kesehatan dan 7 Puskesmas se- Kabupaten Bolaang Mongondow Timur (Boltim), melaksanakan kegiatan sosialisasi Cuci Tangan Pakai sabun (CTPS) dan Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS), secara serentak bagi sekolah jenjang SD,SMP dan SMA.<\/h5>\n
Dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan ini, melalui penyuluhan,media leaflet,poster,pemutaran animasi dan juga langsung disertai praktek cuci tangan,\u00a0 Diberikan pemahaman kepada siswa, bagaimana cara mencuci tangan yang benar dan perilaku sehat di sekolah.<\/h5>\n
Data UNICEF (Organisasi Kesejahtraan anak dunia) cukup mengkhawatirkan dengan Indonesia sebagai salah satu 15 negara dengan jumlah kematian anak akibat diare yang erat dengan masalah sanitasi.<\/h5>\n
Penelitian WHO juga mengungkapkan fakta kebiasaan mencuci tangan pakai sabun menjadi tindakan preventif paling sederhana guna membantu menekan angka kematian akibat diare.<\/h5>\n
Kepala dinas kesehatan Kabupaten Boltim, Eko Marsidi mengatakan, mencuci tangan pakai sabun dan air bersih adalah salah satu dari 10 Indikator Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat yang dianjurkan oleh Kementerian Kesehatan (Kemenkes).<\/h5>\n
\u201cCuci tangan adalah kegiatan yang terlihat sepeleh\u00a0 karena hanya 20 detik, \u00a0namun terbukti efektif. Kami\u00a0 berharap program kegiatanCTPS mampu membentuk pola pikir siswa sekolah bahwa mencegah lebih baik daripada mengobati, sesuai dengan Kebijakan Dinkes Kabupaten Boltim, dalam penguatan upaya kesehatan promotif dan preventif,\u201d ujar Eko.
\nKadis juga mengharapkan Ibu-ibu dapat memberikan contoh CTPS di rumah bagi anggota keluarga .<\/h5>\n
\u201cDengan mengkampanyekan kegiatan CTPS, diharapkan masyarakat Boltim lebih memaknai tata cara hidup sehat, \u00a0sehingga masyarakat sehat untuk Boltim lebih sehat dapat terwujud,\u201d tandasnya.<\/h5>\n
