TOTABUAN.NEWS, MANADO \u2013<\/strong> Telly Tjanggulung (T2) adalah sosok perempuan yang memiliki segudang pengalaman. Sebagai mantan Bupati Minahasa Tenggara, modal baginya untuk maju di Pilwako Manado 2020 mendatang. Jika dirinya dipastikan maju di Pilwako Manado, adalah sejarah baru sebagai satu-satunya perempuan pertama di Manado yang maju sebagai calon Walikota Manado.<\/p>\n

Disatu sisi, kesederhanaan sosok istri tercinta Bupati Talaud terpilih Elly Lasut ini, membuat simpati warga Kota Manado terhadap T2 semakin melekat, seperti terlihat pada saat bersilaturahmi dengan warga Singkil dalam acara Halal Bihalal belum lama ini.<\/p>\n

Nurmala, salah seorang warga\u00a0Tuminting mengatakan, meski belum melihat langsung sosok Telly Tjanggulung, dari pemberitaan tentang kesederhanaan Telly Tjanggulung di beberapa media akhir-akhir ini membuat dia tertarik dan ingin bertemu langsung.<\/p>\n

Sebagai kaum perempuan, kata Nurmala, dia bangga karena Telly Tjanggulung mewakili kaum perempuan di Manado maju dalam kontestasi Pemilihan Walikota. \u201cTelly Tjanggulung adalah sosok perempuan yang hebat di antara perempuan yang ada di Kota Manado,\u201d ujar Nurmala.\"\"<\/p>\n

Sementara itu, Herlyna Manangin, mahasiswa asal IAIN Manado juga mengakui kehebatan Telly Tjanggulung.<\/p>\n

Dia mengatakan, representasi perempuan dalam dunia\u00a0politik\u00a0di Manado bisa dikatakan masih minim. Apalagi dalam ajang Pilkads. Padahal menurut mahasiswi semester akhir ini, perempuan bisa saja mengubah dunia apabila mereka mampu memaksimalkan peran dan potensinya dengan masuk ke dalam ranah politik.<\/p>\n

\u201cMajunya Telly Tjanggulung sebagai salah satu calon Walikota Manado sebagai bukti bahwa perempuan mampu bersaing dalam segala bidang termasuk politik. Apalagi Telly Tjanggulung pernah menjabat Bupati Minahasa Tengara,\u201d ujar Herlyna.<\/p>\n

Karena itu, lanjut Herlyna, sebagai kaum perempuan, dirinya mengaku akan siap mendukung T2. \u201cSaatnya kita mendukung kaum kita, kalau bukan sekarang kapan lagi. Meski belum ada pendaftaran calon walikota oleh KPU, Telly Tjanggalung adalah pilihan saya,\u201d pungkas Herlyna.<\/p>\n
