Mereka kelelahan setelah berjalan kaki ke kampung halaman.<\/p>\n<p>Dikutip dari IndiaToday, kecelakaan mengerikan ini terjadi Jumat (8\/5) sekitar pukul 06.30 waktu setempat. Setidaknya 15 orang dinyatakan tewas, sementara satu orang lainnya selamat namun mengalami luka serius.<\/p>\n<p>Disebutkan 16 orang tersebut adalah pemudik berjalan kaki. Mereka berniat pulang ke kampung halaman yang terletak di Chhattisgarh dengan cara menyusuri rel kereta.<\/p>\n<p>Karena perjalanan cukup panjang, mereka akhirnya kelelahan dan tertidur di atas rel. Pagi hari saat kereta mulai beroperasi, nasib nahas mendatangi pemudik tersebut.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Mereka terus berjalan menyusuri rel kereta dan tertidur karena kelelahan. Mereka terlindas kereta,&#8221; demikian pernyataan ofisial setempat.<\/p>\n<p>Perdana Menteri Narendra Modi, melalui akun Twitter-nya, menyatakan sudah berbicara dengan Kemetrian Perkeretaapian terkait kecelakaan tersebut.<\/p>\n<p>Kematian 15 orang pemudik ini menambah suram pemberlakuan lockdown di India. Mereka harus berjalan kaki lantaran tidak ada kendaraan yang bisa mengantar ke kampung halaman.<\/p>\n<p>Pemerintah sebenarnya sudah menyiapkan kereta yang bisa dipakai warga untuk pulang ke kampung halaman, di tengah kondisi ekonomi yang kian sulit.
