TNews, INTERNASIONAL<\/strong>\u00a0–\u00a0Seperti di Indonesia, COVID-19 juga memukul industri pariwisata di Thailand. Malah ada pramugara yang banting setir jadi driver ojol karena sepi job.<\/p>\n

Pandemi COVID-19 di Thailand turut memukul para pelaku industri pariwisata dari profesi yang dijalaninya. Dikumpulkan\u00a0 dari berbagai sumber, Rabu (13\/5\/2020), salah satunya adalah seorang pramugara bernama Kosit Rattanasopon (37).<\/p>\n

Akibat sepi job di udara, Kosit yang sehari-hari menjadi pramugara pun harus menukar seragam dinasnya dengan seragam driver online untuk mengantar pesan makanan di area Bangkok seperti diberitakan media Reuters.<\/p>\n

Setelah semua pesawat milik maskapai tempatnya bekerja dirumahkan, Kosit pun menyambung hidup dan memperoleh rata-rata sekitar 1.000 Baht (Rp 464 ribu) per hari untuk membiayai ayah dan saudara perempuannya yang juga berjuang dengan menjual nasi kotak.<\/p>\n

“Saya tahu kalau hidup tak akan sama lagi untuk beberapa tahun ke depan, jadi saya akan tetap melakukan profesi ini,” ujar Kosit.<\/p>\n

Seperti Kosit, pramugari salah satu maskapai Thailand yang bernama Thawanan Thawornphatworakul (36) juga harus menanggalkan seragamnya dan beralih membuka usaha salon di ruang tamunya untuk menyambung hidup.<\/p>\n

Biasanya Thawanan melayani sekitar dua hingg tiga tamu per harinya untuk memotong rambut. Rata-rata dikenakan biaya 150 baht (Rp 70 ribu). Jumlah itu memang tak bisa dibandingkan dengan gajinya saat jadi pramugari, tapi cukup.<\/p>\n

“Pendapatan dari salon ini membantu pemasukan dan membayar biaya pokok,” ujar Thawanan.<\/p>\n

Ada juga seorang instruktur selam bernama Sermsak Posayajinda (47) yang beralih profesi jadi pembuat sambal kemasan. Sermsak mendapat resep itu dari ibunya dan dijual online.<\/p>\n

“Awalnya ini hanya hobi selama pandemi COVID-19, tapi hasilnya cukup baik. Jadi ini akan menjadi usaha bisnis kami untuk jangka panjang,” ujar Sermsak.<\/p>\n

Itulah beberapa kisah pelaku industri pariwisata Thailand yang terdampak COVID-19. Tak hanya di Thailand, pelaku pariwisata di Indonesia pun juga ada yang bernasib sama seperti Kosit dan lainnya.<\/p>\n
