Menurut laporan dari The Guardian, para petugas medis yang menyelidiki kematian tersebut mengatakan bahwa korban baru ditemukan setelah teman, saudara, keluarga, atau tetangga membunyikan alarm dan memberitahu pihak berwenang bahwa korban tak kunjung keluar rumah.<\/p>\n<p>Beberapa kasus bahkan tidak terdeteksi cukup lama sehingga begitu ditemukan, tubuh mereka mulai membusuk dan mengarah pada &#8216;epidemi kesepian&#8217; akibat\u00a0COVID-19. Hingga kini masih belum diketahui secara pasti berapa banyak orang meninggal sendirian di rumah tapi semua kasus telah ditangani ke petugas setempat.<\/p>\n<p>Disebutkan bahwa beberapa kasus terjadi di London di antara bulan Maret dan Mei. Kepala unit emergensi RS Royal Collage, Inggris, Prof Martin Marshall mengatakan bahwa kematian tersebut bisa terkait dengan lockdown yang melarang kunjungan antar-warga untuk mencegah penyebaran dan penularan virus Corona.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Pandemi COVID-19 juga menciptakan epidemi kesepian.
