TNews, NASIONAL <\/strong>– Menteri Pertanian Syahrul Yasin Limpo menyatakan pihaknya akan memperluas penggunaan kalung penawar covid-19 yang berbasis pohon kayu putih (eucalyptus). Pasalnya, ia mengklaim kalung tersebut efektif membunuh virus corona.<\/p>\n

Ia bilang kalung buatan Kementan tersebut telah melewati hasil laboratorium di Badan Penelitian dan Pengembangan Pertanian (Balitbangtan) dan teruji ampuh membunuh virus dalam 15-30 menit pemakaian.<\/p>\n

“Antivirus corona hasil Balitbangtan eucalyptus pohon kayu putih, dari 700 jenis satu yang bisa mematikan virus corona. Hasil lab ini mengusir virus, kami yakin, bulan depan ini sudah dicetak, diperbanyak,” ucapnya.<\/p>\n

Dikenakan oleh seluruh jajaran Kementan, Syahrul meyakini dalam 15 menit pemakaian, kalung antivirus ampuh membunuh 42 persen virus corona. Sementara untuk pemakaian 30 menit dapat membunuh 80 persen virus.<\/p>\n

“Ini sudah dicoba. Jadi ini bisa membunuh, kalau kontak 15 menit dia bisa membunuh 42 persen dari corona. Kalau dia 30 menit maka bisa 80 persen. Ini ada roll-nya,” jelasnya.<\/p>\n

Sebelumnya, Kepala Balitbangtan Fadjri Djufry mengungkapkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemanfaatan kandungan senyawa aktif 1,8-cineole (eucalyptol) yang dimiliki oleh tanaman eucalyptus efektif sebagai antivirus corona.<\/p>\n

Ia mengungkapkan, berdasarkan hasil penelusuran ilmiah serta riset daya antivirus pada eucalyptus, senyawa aktif cineole berpotensi membantu pencegahan covid-19 karena mampu mengikat Mpro yang terdapat dalam virus corona jenis apapun.<\/p>\n

Mpro merupakan main protease (3CLPro) atau enzim kunci dari virus korona yang berperan penting dalam memediasi replikasi dan transkripsi virus. Mpro ini yang ditarget agar laju replikasi dan transkripsi virus terhambat.<\/p>\n

“Kesimpulan kami bisa (membunuh Covid-19), karena bahan aktif yang dimiliki eucalyptus dan target bisa membunuh Mpro itu. Nah kandungan Mpro berlaku pada Covid-19 yang juga ada, dia bisa mereplikasi,” kata Fadjri beberapa waktu lalu.<\/p>\n
