MENJADI<\/strong> seorang Pegawai Negeri Sipil (PNS) atau Abdi Negara, adalah harapan banyak orang, termasuk orang tua yang memiliki anak yang telah menyelesaikan sekolah ditingkatan SMA sederajat maupun perguruan tinggi.<\/p>\n

Sebelum kita membahas lebih lanjut, ada baiknya kita terlebih dahulu berkenalan dengan PNS. Menurut UU No 43 tahun 1999, Pegawai Negeri Sipil adalah salah satu jenis Kepegawaian Negeri di samping Anggota TNI dan Anggota Polri. Sedangkan menurut UU No.43 Ayat 1 Pasal 1 Th 1999, Pegawai Negeri adalah warga negara RI yang telah memenuhi syarat yang ditentukan, diangkat oleh pejabat, yang berwenang dan diserahi tugas dalam suatu jabatan negeri, atau diserahi tugas negara lainnya, dan digaji berdasarkan peraturan perundang-undangan yang berlaku.<\/p>\n

Sehingga bagi segelintir orang yang sangat mengaharapkannya, status PNS bagi mereka bisa mengangkat derajat dan harga diri. Tak heran mereka rela mengeluarkan uang hingga ratusan juta demi meraih status sebagai seorang PNS.<\/p>\n

Akibatnya, tak sedikit pula mereka yang gagal atau tak lolos dalam seleksi CPNS, melakukan hal yang saya anggap adalah bodoh. Seperti bunuh diri, aksi brutal, demo dan hal lainnya yang bisa merugikann diri sendiri.<\/p>\n

Karena mungkin bagi mereka PNS adalah harapan terakhir untuk bertahan hidup. Itu satu pemikiran yang konyol.<\/p>\n

Sebagai saran, mengutip sebuah kalimat orang bijak \u201cMasih banyak jalan menuju Roma\u201d, dalam arti masih banyak pekerjaan lain yang bisa merubah nasib kita untuk menjadi lebih baik lagi, dan PNS bukanlah harapan terakhir. (*)<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
