Meidy Makalalag, turut menjemput kedatangan Ketua DPD RI, La Nyalla Mahmud Matalitti bersama rombongan.<\/p>\n<p>Kedatangan para senator di Kota Kotamobagu dalam rangka Kunjungan Kerja (Kunker) ini, dijemput di rumah jabatan Wali Kota Kotamobagu, Ir Hj Tatong Bara, Senin (16\/11) malam.<\/p>\n<p>Meidy Makalalag mengatakan, DPD RI adalah lembaga tinggi negara dalam sistem ketatanegaraan Indonesia yang anggotanya merupakan perwakilan dari setiap provinsi yang dipilih melalui Pemilihan Umum.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMaka dari itu, kedatangan mereka (anggota DPD RI) ke Kota Kotamobagu, selaku tuan rumah, wajib kita jemput,\u201d kata Meidy.<\/p>\n<p>Lanjutnya, dalam kesempatan itu, ia, wali kota, sejumlah tokoh serta pejabat lainnya, banyak berdiskusi dengan para senator.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSelaku ketua DPRD, saya menyampaikan sejumlah aspirasi masyarakat Kota Kotamobagu, kepada Ketua dan anggota DPD RI, termasuk soal keinginan masyakata BMR khusunya Kota Kotamobagu terkait terbentuknya Provinsi Bolaang Mongondow Raya (PBMR),\u201d tutur Meidy.<\/p>\n<p>Ia berharap agar apa yang menjadi aspirasi masyarakat Kota Kotamobagu, dapat ditindaklanjuti oleh DPD
